This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) is incorporated into MoneyIQ PTE LTD’s Terms of Service and governs how we process personal data on behalf of our business customers (“Data Controllers”). MoneyIQ PTE LTD acts as a Data Processor under this DPA, processing data in accordance with applicable privacy laws including the GDPR, CCPA, and PDPA.
1. Scope of Data Processing
MoneyIQ PTE LTD will only process personal data on documented instructions from the Data Controller, for the purposes of:
Delivering our financial dashboard, report‑generation and portfolio tools;
Managing user accounts, subscriptions and billing;
Providing customer support and notifications;
Complying with legal obligations.
2. Roles & Responsibilities
Data Controller – determines the purposes, means and legal basis for processing and ensures compliance with applicable laws. Data Processor (MoneyIQ PTE LTD) – agrees to:
Process personal data only on the Controller’s documented instructions;
Ensure employees and sub‑processors are under confidentiality obligations;
Implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard data;
Assist the Controller in responding to data subject requests and regulatory inquiries;
Notify the Controller without undue delay of any personal data breach affecting Controller data.
3. Security Measures
We maintain industry‑standard safeguards, including but not limited to:
TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit, AES‑256 for data at rest;
Role‑based access control (RBAC) and least‑privilege principles;
Regular vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and security audits;
Logging, monitoring, and alerting for suspicious activity;
Secure coding practices and dependency management.
4. Sub‑Processors
We may engage sub‑processors to perform services on our behalf. All sub‑processors are bound by terms consistent with this DPA.
Stripe, Inc. – payment processing and subscription management (PCI‑DSS compliant).
AWS / Amazon Web Services – hosting and infrastructure.
SendGrid (Twilio) – email delivery.
Google Analytics / Plausible – anonymized site usage analytics.
A current list of our sub‑processors is available upon request. We will provide at least 10 days’ notice before adding or replacing any sub‑processor.
5. Assistance with Data Subject Rights
We will assist you in responding to data subject requests, including:
Access – providing a copy of personal data we hold;
Rectification – correcting inaccurate or incomplete data;
Deletion – erasing personal data when required;
Portability – exporting data in machine‑readable format;
Restriction – restricting processing where applicable.
6. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a personal data breach affecting Controller data, we will:
Notify the Controller without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours;
Provide details on the nature of the breach, categories and number of data subjects and records affected;
Describe likely consequences and measures taken or proposed to mitigate the breach;
Cooperate with the Controller’s investigation and regulatory reporting requirements.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Upon termination or expiry of services, we will, at the Controller’s choice:
Return all personal data to the Controller and securely delete any copies;
Or securely delete or anonymize the personal data, unless retention is legally required.
8. Audits & Inspections
Upon reasonable notice, we will make available to the Controller all information necessary to demonstrate compliance with this DPA and allow for audits or inspections by the Controller or an appointed auditor.
9. Liability & Indemnification
Our liability for breaches of this DPA is subject to the limits and exclusions set out in the Terms of Service. We agree to indemnify the Controller for any direct losses arising from our breach of this DPA, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This DPA is governed by the same law and dispute resolution provisions as set out in MoneyIQ PTE LTD’s Terms of Service.
